7 -- Joe Grube Memorial Big Bird Fly-In October 10 -- Firemen's
Cheer Fund Benefit Fly-In October 24 -- Club Swap Meet
BCRCF's 3rd Annual Holiday Dinner was held Saturday, January 9, 2010.
A good time was had by all with great food
and atmosphere.

The second annual Cheer Fund Fly-in was Sunday, October 11th. There were lots of
prizes for the pilot drawing. Of course there was food available for purchase. There was also other raffles,
for which you could purchase tickets.

Big Bird Fly In held August 8, 2009. There were 34 registered pilots and a lot of nice aircraft and great flying weather.

Bartholomew County Earth Day, 2009
Earth
Day, was observed at the Recycle Center on South Mapleton Street, Saturday, April 25th. Gliders, made from recycled
egg cartons were given to many youngsters. There were a number of great looking airplanes. Also, Stan brought
his SPAD and Ken had three Skyraiders.
Several members had gone home and taken their planes with them before we
took pictures.

Mall Show,
2009
The BCRCF 1st Annual Mall Show held February 21, 2009 was great success. Have a look at the Youtube
videos and you can see why. Thank you Alan Batts for making these available for all to enjoy!
Indoor flying to began January
11, 2009 at the St. Peters School Gym.
The dates were: Jan. 11 & 25, Feb. 8 & 22, Mar. 8 & 22
and April 5. (That works out to every other weekend).
Members paid $25 for the whole 6 session season,
or $7.50 for each session. April 5 was added just before the end of the season. Non-members pay $30 for the 6
session season, or $10 for each session.
